SC 64-SA | Drilling Mud Surfactant
SC 64-SA is a blend of ethoxylated phenols and defoamers and is used as a drilling surfactant to control rheological properties of water based drilling muds, by preventing gellation of drill solids. The inclusion of a defoaming agent is to prevent the natural tendency of surfactants to cause some foaming in the mud pit.
