SC 276 | Drilling Invert Oil Mud Viscosifier
SC 276 ORGANOVIS is enhanced organophilic clay designed for use as a viscosifying anti settling agent in diesel and low toxicity oil based drilling fluids. It is used to increase the yield point and gel strengths of an invert or oil based mud, without significantly affecting the plastic viscosity. It will also a degree of filtration control in synthetic fluids, and emulsion stability in relaxed filtrate systems. SC 276 ORGANOVIS is a high grade montmorilonite clay which has been reacted with a quaternary ammonium compound.
